Rainbow Circle
About five years ago, I started holding a Reiki Exchange on the third Wednesday of every month to allow any and all Reiki attuned individuals a place to come and share what they have been doing, ask questions, do Reiki treatments on each other and also to have a place to meet with people of like minds on a spiritual path.

Some people always made the exchange each month and others came as often as they could.................all were welcome whenever they could come. We would sit in a circle and go around the group sharing what we had been doing since we had last met, then we would break down into small groups and share Reiki Energy with each other.

Soon I started to read guided meditations as part of the exchange which seemed to relax everyone before we exchanged energy. Well, shortly after the meditations started, I was intuitively receiving words and images of meditations just days before the exchange. One evening in my rush to get there, I left my meditation book at home and had nothing to read for the guided meditation. The images and words rushed to my head and I decided to give it a try on my own. That evening started
the shift to the Reiki Exchange with a channeled meditation that has evolved since.

The summer of 2004 also brought a great shift to the Reiki Exchange when we welcomed back the goddess energy during the Venus Transit in June. In August of 2004, Dawna, a gifted clairvoient and teacher of the Native American customs, phoned, and as we spoke, the two of us decided to hold a medicine circle and guided meditation in place of the Reiki Exchange to connect with light workers around the world during these times of great change. The evening was magical and held all that attended in a "New Light". I first called this new gathering The Reiki Exchange/Medicine Circle, but feel the name Rainbow Circle better serves this group, for we have expanded and grown.
